Craving healthy and delicious food, yet running out of ideas? With our rainbow falafel salad bowl, you’re never gonna get bored! Each time, you can alter the ingredients so it always fits your taste.
This recipe is inspired by Chloe Ting and topped with our tasty savory spreads to bring you the best possible experience of this deliciousness. The falafel salad bowl is full of vitamins and other important micronutrients and is perfect for your lunches or dinners.
Definitely make sure to give it a try!
• 3 falafel balls (buy a mix)
• 1 bell pepper (mix of 3 colours)
• A handful of spinach
• A handful of carrot slices
• A handful of beetroot slices
• 5 cherry tomatoes
• A handful of canned corn
• Pickled onions
• 1 avocado
• Savory spread
• Sesami seed
• Lime
1. Prepare falafel according to the instructions on the box.
2. Cut the vegetables – bell peppers and cherry tomatoes to small pieces.
3. Start building the bowl – add each vegetable besides avocado into the bowl separately (do not mix) to create the “rainbow effect”.
4. Place the falafel into the bowl.
5. Cut avocado very thinly, spread the pieces a bit and then roll them inside circularly to create a flower and add to the bowl.
6. Add a tablespoon of your favourite savory spread to the bowl.
7. Mix savoury spread with a bit of water to create a dressing and pour it over the falafel.
8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, add a piece of lime and enjoy!
